Oh my god I'm an adult, When did that happen?!
So I've been wondering lately, what does growing up really imply? what do I have to change in me to decide that I have grown up? and most importantly, do I have to really??
Well, I still get excited for the smallest things, like trying a new ice cream flavor for instance.
I wouldn't say no to riding the roller-coaster because it's not so lady-like! I know it'll make me cry with excitement and I'll do it again!
Toy story 2 is one of my favorite movies.
Dexter's lab and Johnny Bravo make me laugh!
I never hold back my smile, and I could laugh to tears if the situation calls for it.
I can't act nor lie. I don't know how to play games to get what I want.
"I don't know" sounds like a perfectly shameless good answer to me when it's true!
And yes I still sing to my hairbrush and dance when nobody's watching!!
The list goes on and on...why do I have to let go all of this?
Yes I'm 23, I'm an engineer, I have a good job, I could say I've had a successful life so far. will this be gone with the wind if I acted like...hmmm...myself?
can't spontaneous, childish, well behaved, smart, and serious lay in the same feature set anymore?
If growing up implies letting go the child in me, and discarding all the small things that make me stand out, then I'd rather stay the spoiled 10 year old girl they claim i am!
